If students master this lesson quickly I will ask them to present in both groups during the guided practice activity. This will provide them extra modeling before it is their turn to present. If students are struggling to grasp the concept of authority figures I will use peer scaffolding by putting them in the second group of students during the guided practice portion of the lesson. They can choose what information they want to share as long as it’s relevant to their chosen authority figure. Multiple means of Action and Expression: Students can choose what authority figure they want to dress up as and present about.
